I Just Finished

Creating a place where authors and readers can get together to talk and discuss their favorite works of literature. The biggest hurdle while designing this site was the amount of content from all the readers, authors, and books. So the main focus throughout the design process was to keep it friendly while still making it easy for the viewer to access the important areas of the site. Bigger type choices, light blue colors, and an almost cartoony feel to the graphics allowed the site to stay fun while presenting the information in an attractive manner.

A unique challenge was presented with this site in that each piece of content had to be somewhat modular due to the various types of media that the site presented. This can be seen with each section of information being outlined in a line blue border.

Once I created the logo and branding for the the main website, I extended it to their social pages like Facebook and Twitter to give them a coherent and cohesive look.
